I was wondering if freshwater plants can live in low end brackish water? I wanted to get http://aquaticplantdepot.com/asianplantkit.html but im not sure if they will survive?

Typically you need to acclimate them by introducing them to increasingly saline conditions over a lengthy period of time. It's possible, yes.
I'm not sure about the Cryptocoryne though; I think these usually don't fare so well in salt. The vallisneria should be fine with acclimatisation.

The best brackish plants are java moss ans java fern.

And mangroves if you dont let them get too big.

I've had success with Cryptocorne Wendtii and Vallis from that list. I've only had experience with one other cypt species and that was Becketti which quickly died.

We have a sticky here on that. The ones in that list will "melt" in BW, IMO.

Cryptocorne Wendtii has worked for me, the bronze variety, I believe. When first planted a few leaves rotted away quickly, but the rest seem to be in it for the long haul.

What SG are they at?

One tank is .001-.003.

The SG in the other is anywhere from .003-.008.

The Ph in both is 8.1

When I do water changes in either I aim for only a subtle increase in the SG, from .005 to .006 for instance. Of course the crypts look better at a lower SG but they seem to manage at .008. I doubt if they would last if the SG was a constant .008 though.
