2 GSP's, 65 Gal, tankmate?

Hey everyone, I'm a long-time reader and new poster with a question for you guys. I have a 65 gallon hex tank with 2 GSP's ~1" each (very roomy right now, but they're growing!).

Salinity 1.007
Amm & NitrIte 0
NitrAte <10
Ph 8

My question is this...eventually down the road when the salinity in the tank reaches that of full saltwater, do you think it is at all feasible for my two GSP's (Porky and Piglet) to share there tank with a Maroon Clown? I have 2 full grown percula's in my 90 gal reef tank, and they are VERY feisty, and IMO/E Maroon's are even tougher. What do you guys/gals think?

I believe PufferPunk had some success with a Maroon clown and GSPs together.

Just don't get it an anemone!

I don't think I would add a Maroon Clown to two puffers in that tank without a sizeable sump and/or 24-7 refugium in operation. That is too much fish load for that tank, even disregarding the potentials for conflict. The puffers alone are full load.

yeah Jhong, I've read of her success, I believe it was with a tomato clown...with 2 gsp's, a ceylon and damsels in a 55. RTR I know that each GSP needs 30 gals of water volume each when full grown, and to deal with this I was thinking that a 20-30 gal live sump would do the trick, on a reverse light cycle than the display. What do you think?
thanks for the input!

That should help a lot on water quality maintenance, but you might want to research sump 24/7 lighting for still higher water quality.

Your only issues then would be territorial aggression and/or food competition. Either or both can always be an issue with puffers and pretty much with the nastier clowns.

I also did 50% weekly water changes ($$$ for salt!) & eventually had to rehouse the puffers--they needed more swimming room than that 55g.

Just thought I'd let you know that apparently a 72 gal bowfront is in my future (boyfriend let it slip..Christmas!) which is very cool. So I guess that plus a sump I can have my maroon one day.
