My GSP is acting weird w/ curled tail! :(

I have a GSP in 30g tank which changed about 20% of water just 2 days ago.

He has been doing fine but I just noticed he curled his tail to his body and just "floating" around for like... 5 minutes. I don't think he was sleeping either. (He always sleeps at a same spot)

I have had him for 2 years now but never seen him doing this.
I haven't tested water parameters but it shouldn't be far off from the standard.

Any one know what might be the cause? I hope he is not sick or anything :?

Puffers curl their tails all the time. It's natural for them. No worries. :)

Odd you haven't seen him do that before but I agree....puffers will sleep like that. Mine every now and then will sleep in different spots. Keep an eye on him.

One question. Do you do regular WC's often? If not, you need to and also I would test the water parameters.

If you don't have a test kit, you can take a sample to your LFS, and they'll usually test it for free. Ask them for the exact numbers.
