The Puffer Forum

So I recently found this play that sells crayfish for $3.99 / pound. So that is about 15 or so medium size crayfish. That is such a great deal considering I used to pay $1 each. Only thing is that I have to setup a tank for them.. Anyway, how often should I feed my puffer crayfish? He is on a diet of mussels, prawn, dried krill and occasional crab legs right now.

My fahaka Kaiser gets crayfish about once every 2 weeks. In between he gets his regular feedings of shrimp and snails but I don't feed him daily. Probably every 3 days or so. He is 9 inches long. When he does get crayfish depending on size he will eat 5-6 of them in the course of 2 days or so. I drop them all in there at once then he picks them off at his discretion. After his feasting he gets a heavy duty water change.
