I would be placing them in my 190g full hex.
I didn't know if they would get along.

It might be OK depending on the personalities of the puffers and if you break up lines of sight. But, from reading a lot of people's experience on here, mixing various toby species has been disasterous.

Erring on the side of caution, I would vote no.

I think I've read what Idontknow posted above, too...I seem to remember a case where a solandri was put in with a valentini, and it did NOT work out well. In general it seems like puffers like to be the only puffer in a tank, with a few exceptions.

i put a papua toby and valentini together, literally instant disaster overnight! the valentini was fine in the 30g tank for a few months and when I put the toby in, i found almost everything dead 8 hours later.

it depends. i had a valentini and a solandri together for about a year in my 50g until my whole tank was wiped out. i never had a moment of real problems with them from day one, only show boating.

Maybe you could do a pair of tobies ?
I've seen them in the wild as pairs,
really tempting to get a pair but they almost always have parasites

hawaiian spotted toby puffers don't pair perfectly. the male's territory encompases about 4 or 5 female's territories, each of which is a couple square yards.

ugh, i know! they either have the nemotodes or that black fin disease.

My sister says that she sees tons of fat puffers,but I know they are infested with IP.

I kept a valentini with a coronata & also with a bluespot (seperate times)with no problems, in a 40g. Guess it just depends on the individual puffers.

4ft across. I don't recall the height, but it's tall. The tank isn't set up yet. All my fish are currently housed in a 210g.

I do have a golden and blue spotted mixed with no problem.

nemotodes are a type of internal parasite

i don't actually know what the "black fin disease" really is. some of the wild puffers have black somewhat shriveled fins or black splotches on their body. it's obviously not a good sign and i've never bothered to look up what its called.
