Is this Ghost Shrimp okay to feed to my GSP

Recently I bought four ghost shrimp from the LFS and fed all but one of them to my happy GSP. I didn't feed the fourth because it was smaller than the others and It' s abdomen was a milky white colour instead of the regular transparancy. Is this shrimp okay to use as a feeder or what.

Did you quarantine the shrimp before feeding them?

When they die they turn completey white, I've seen one alive with a white tail and by the end of the day it was totally white and dead

When I took my airstone out of their tank they all died and turned white to so the one with the white tail was in the process of dieing

If it's just one then don't feed it to the GSP just in case

Ghost Shrimp are great to feed to GSP's! If you can find them cheap, buy a bunch, 20 or so. Put them in a quarantine tank for a while to make sure they don't have IP's. (you can actually see the parasites sometimes in their intestines). Most won't last long, but some will hide if you give them places to hide. My puffers loved chasing and eating them, plus the Ghost Shrimp clean up the tank. About 4 months after I thought they were all gone, I turned on the lights one night and found one swimming around....so did Zephyr and that didn't last long. Unfortunately my SG is too hight now and the GS wouldn't survive long. But I did have them in 1.008 and they were fine.
