That's a Mappa, such a beautiful puffer, I've always wanted one of those. In the pufferpedia it say's they grow to 2ft and need a 250g tank

I have one, even more brightly colored that that guy. He's incredibly personable and obnoxious, and not shy at all. In fact, he likes to kill tank mates... Definitely my favorite fish and fish species, though!

Can you post some pix and vids of your guy please

I have one and he eats like a horse. The younger ones are colored so sweet but as they get older they get to be pretty black and white LOL but still a magnificent fish. I have never had a problem with tank mate deaths either but I do think this is common in the younger fish.
