I had to go with DPs. I look forward to owning a Fahaka at some point. I hear they have very engaging personalities.

I have only owned two species, and only one long enough to get to know them, so I really couldn't pick!

Ive only kept one species, but have worked with around 8 or so. But definately mbu, just due to the character that they have even supresses that of stingrays and i speak from experience there. Definatly up there in my three fish species with is t.mbu, peacock bass and lungfish. All of which i currently keep. And have kept for a while now.

They also get so excited by seeing people and get all giddy and shake lol.

I have kept 4 different species and they all have their own individual personality. I believe that my S&S and my Fahaka are making googly eyes at each other. Their tanks are close together and he sure puts on a show when she swims by. :D

Too bad they lead such different lifestyles. :) I mean, salt vs. fresh? It's the ultimate long-distance relationship.

That don't stop him from trying to get his groove on! I wonder If I were to put them together just long enough to breed, do you think they would have "brackish fry". :D

Can't be too much harder than breeding GSPs, and they've done that!

I think Naboo's got great charactor also, some of the faces he pulls are just so funny. When there's a river shrimp just inches away he has a look of total concentration and at the same time you can see he's just trying to hold it together for those last couple of inches and his lips come out in anticipation of having that lovely river shrimp in his mouth and then just as he strikes the river shrimp will flick itself and disapear leaving a puzzled looking Naboo searching the gravel in front of him :D

All the Mbu's sound very fascinating too. I'm bummed that they get so large... I'd love to keep one.
