Specie's ID and TPF add

Auriglobus nefastus "Green Bottle Puffer"
What is it really called if its a new breed?
Can we add it to TPF Pedia?

Not really new, they are considering it a "new" species, that was discovered about 1982, to be a color variant of
A. Modestus .

From what I can find out, the reason they aren't seen in the pet trade is that they are an accidental catch and they can be difficult to identify do to their similarity to
A. Modestus So, more than likely that is what you are going to get.
Looking at his fins it looks like he was the 1st course in someones' lunch buffet....

It's not considered a color variant, it's considered a separate species... big difference.
In contrast to A. modestus the protrusion of the upper lip is stronger, the nasal organ is relatively smaller in size, spines are pointing downward (upward in A. modestus).

Problem is catchers, traders and most hobbyists are unable to differentiate between the 5 Auriglobus puffer species (most don't even know there are 5) and pictures are often not sufficient for ID. It's easier with the fish in front of you.
