Water Test Kit

I'm looking to buy a good water test kit. I have brackish water but when my LFS tested it they just compared the FW and SW test charts to find the result. Anyways, any ideas of where to get a good one? My LFS does give out free water tests, but its more convenient if I can test my water on my own.

API freshwater master test kit should work fine. i'm pretty sure brackish water can be tested as fresh becuase the salt content isn't high enough to mess with the chemicals.

It depends on how brackish you are. The general guideline is 1.008ish or lower, use the freshwater test. 1.012 and higher, use marine. In between, sort of compare the two charts and make a guesstimate ;)

I don't know about the other tests, but my AP liquid Nitrate test does fresh and marine, you do the drip test, wait and then compare it to the charts...
