Porcupine Puffer (Shyster is his name)

Shyster has a horrible infestaction of cryptocaryn & needs to be in hypo immediately! I'd also treat him with SW Melafix to help sooth his skin. That's one of the worst cases I've ever seen on a SW puff. Are there any tank mates? They all need to be in hypo now.

Melafix in tank for 2 days now.

I have a plastic container big enough for the rock a powerhead and 300w heater. Can I move the live rock and keep the fish in the tank?, it's larger.

Also have a print out of "Treating Saltwater Ich" by Kelly Jedlicki.

Yes you can that's excatly what I did. I took all my rock out and left all the fish in the tank.

Yes, follow Kelly's article to the T. If you move the rock to the container, make sure you top it off with freshwater daily so the evaporated water doesn't make the salinity skyrocket (check it to be sure).

And be sure to treat the entire time needed.. don't stop treatment early.

i am not denying this is ich BUT it looks like there are white spots ALL OVER the tank. almost like sand particles...
