Hey Guys

I cannot remember the name of fish this guy is but he's been resently hiding a lot and today I found him swimming nose down. He corrects himself and swims horizontal hor a short time but then his tail fin starts to rise and he floats head down facing the gravel. He's def not doing it on purpose. His face also looks a lot blacker than it normally is!

I've just looked at him again and his just floating with his nose on the gravel!

What can I do to help the lill fella?

I found the poor lill fella dead tonight, It's weird how sometimes a fish can be doing so well and then just has a funny turn

is it,or was it(sorry),an apistogramma? if so, some of them are EXTRMELY sensitive water params. even the slightest bump in ammonia or nitrates will kill it. same with german blue ram cichlids

Yeah that's right I just did a google and here's a pic of what he looked like

I was warned not to get a female with him when I bought him as he would've become very teritorial and agressive. He was such a quiet little dude and would happily cruise round munching on leftovers :(
