Hey Guy's

I thought I'd film Naboo again eating from my hand, all was going well when he suddenly flipped and zoomed back and forth and then smacked into the glass and hid behind the plants?!

I'm not sure if he got the prawn caught in his throat or whether I spooked him by standing up and him seeing the bright coloured towel I had wrapped round me?!

After my 6hr trip to get the Mantis Naboo was still in the same place behind the plants, he had eaten the prawn I dropped in though

He was most likely startled by the bright color. He should be fine by tomorrow.

Wow! I had to watch that a few times just to see which way he went.
Something had to spook him!

hes a fat bugger.... hhahha wait till he gets the size of cutiepie he wont be able to move that fast haha....... let us know how he goes...

p.s. not really handfeeding is it?? hehehhe ill take a vid of cutie pie tomorrow i put my hand in and shell wait about 1" away until iput it next to her mouth she will gently take it..... next step try and get the suvs that tame

They can see very well out of the tank, Naboo waits by the end of the tank for me to come back in woth his food. Also when I wake up and slide and sit on the end of my bed he comes over to me and starts begging, I even see him watching me at the computer and then as I leave the room he'll follow me to the end of the tank and then wait there for me to come back expecting to be fed

Funny you should say that as yesterday he decided to test my finger to see if it was food, I was holding cockle meat and he gently pecked at my finger. I could feel that his beak is very sharpe!

Today though he didn't bother with my finger when I fed him

I've noticed that he's bored with cockle meat, prawns are his fav at the mo

Naboo would eat from my hand if I stuck it in there just don't want to get my arm wet every time I feed him

He even lets me stroke his back

These fish at my LFS are in a 3,000 gallon and the arclyic is over like 2 inches think and they see very well.

i would agree with that both mine spot me from the kitchen (over 10 feet away) and they defenatkly know the difference as if emilia is there they dont react because she doesnt feed them.

just moved the pie to a 8x2x2 with acaras geos ready for the two baby rays 4" discs coming tomorrow
