A year ago i had 3SAP's, but unfortunately i lost 2 of them.I was looking everywhere to find another 2, but couldn't find one anywhere. So, today i finally found one.A really skinny one, probably starving to death and he/she was sitting with some GSP's in a tank. I immediately bought the SAP, but when i released him in my tank i saw that he had some abnormalities under his skin. It kinda looks like he has a adam's apple. So i was wondering does he have internal parasites?

It's very difficult to say without us seeing him ourselves, and I'm sure you don't want to start dumping in medications until you know for sure he's got some sort of problem. Can you post some pics of him?

I've bought puffers before that I thought had IPs from the way they looked at the store, but then after a week of giving them good, solid meals, they looked absolutely fine and healthy and stayed that way.

Dumping in medications is indeed the last thing i wanna do. A picture would be very difficult to get, because i don't have a decent camera to take a nice and clear picture with.

Now i must say that after feeding him good for the past days, that his abnormalities have decreased significantly, but the one on his throat is still there and a few others near his tail.
