My LFS is such a dangerous place

Just went to my LFS, Medusa in Santa Monica, CA yesterday. There I was, staring at a MAGNIFICENT 1.5 inch baby stars and stripes that I just wanted to take home! I couldn't believe how much I wanted it!! OK, so I told myself, no, patience, no, it will grow huge in a year, and walked off to the back section of the store, and found an AMZAING, super friendly, excitable yellow guineafowl puffer, the kind that Yunachin has.......... everytime I walked by it it just rushed to the glass with a big smiley face and flappy fins............
Argh! Evil LFS! I wanted to bring all the puffers and baby cowfish home!

Imagine working at an LFS. I can hardly stand it when we get in a new puffer variety...mad thoughts of "OK - how can I get another tank, fast!" and so on.

Haha. Yeah. Evil is good in this case.
Same thoughts went through my head, but when 300G came up, I kinda had to drag myself outta there. My room is already full to its capacity for tanks.

Time to be your not so moral compass:
You know you want the pretty yellow guineafowl...He's waiting for you.....pretty fishy....he's so tiny and cute...won't get BIG for a while....Oh, oh, oh, and the Stars and Stripes! Wouldn't he look fantastic in your new aquarium? You should look on Craigslist to find a tank for him! Oh, heck, get both of them, what harm can it be? They're just soooooooo cute! When they get big you can just ship them to this nice guy up in the north that loves puffers.....

Bunk tanks? Like bunk beds? You could put in fish ladders....OR you could just buy the puffers and the tanks and ship them to me!

I thought that second picture had a narrow lined puffer in it.

I really need my glasses.
I love those baby cowfish. They are sooooooooo cute.

you could get rid of the bed and put up a hammock over a tank- don't put the hammock over a fahaka tank- the first step could be a problem

Oh, I had the same thing happen yesterday! I went to the lfs and they had this fahaka, and when I put my finger up to the glass it tried to bite it! Of course I was instantly in love! And then they had these tiiiiiiiny F8s that were soooooo adorable and I wanted one soooooooooo bad, but I turned my brackish tank to FW. But luckily I got to take home two more DPs and a beautiful platinum plakat betta, so it was all ok

Haha yeah. Pretty much the only solution to wanting more puffers is to GET more puffers
