The Puffer Forum

Well, as some of you might know, Elevator was a wuss. He lived with his good friend, a ghost shrimp named Miracle, for 5 months. They played, frolicked, had food stolen from each other...basically, left each other alone. Then one day he ate him.

Well, I decided to go get a couple more ghost shrimp yesterday...and when they went in....WHAM! He started going after them! He missed the first few times, and I gave up watching after 15 minutes....but when I got back.....FATTYVATOR....He ate one! I was so proud of him. This morning when I woke up, nice happy puffer swimming around, looking like normal....I went to work, came home...FATTYVATOR! He got the other one! I could have cried I was so proud of the little guy. Needless to say....no food tomorrow. He has had his fill.

I am just proud of him....and I had to share....

That's great news. I think Annabelle has started a shrimp breeding farm. She still hasn't eaten any of the ghost shrimp in her tank and now they are carrying eggs.

I think puffers are very calculated....Anabelle is waiting for the happiest day in the ghost shrimps life....then.. BAM, Emeril is on TV..wait...I mean, Anabelle will strike....

Maybe she's waiting for them to multiply so that she can have a shrimp boil.

lol that is cute. My ceylon, Valentine... was real skinny when he was at the LFS and I asked how often they fed. Anyway he didn't know but threw a ghost shrimp in there and Valentine went NUTS on it. Just gobbled it down in 2 seconds then spit out the eyeballs... then looked at me like "MORE?!"

Then I said "Oh you are so coming home with me!"
