So my marine FOWLR tank is finally set-up and running smoothly. It's fully cycled and I added a pair of ocellaris clowns on Monday. So far they're doing really well. What I would eventually like to have in the tank are the clowns, and Valentini toby and a small group of PJ cardinals (either 3 or 5). I'm just wondering if the Valentini would be too boisterous for the PJ's? I don't think it would necessarily bully them around, but might just be too high-energy for slow, methodical PJ's?

The tank is 47gal with plenty of hiding places and caves.

The Pj's at the store where I work usually have NO trouble gobbling up food quickly. For all I've heard that they are mild, the ones in the store get to a lot of darting around and snapping up food at feeding time, though they ARE very chill the rest of the time.

The two valentinis I've observed at work so far have all been quite shy and cautious, and slow moving. We've had various other fish in with them and none has been picked on.

The two valentinis that I've had have been really tame. I think they tend to be picked on rather than the other way around.

I have the combo working well in my reef tank.

They tend to be shy at first, but once they get used to you they brighten up and resume normal puffer behavior.
