Not a good picture. Took with web cam.
Mostly bright green with brown spots.

It is a Green Spotted Puffer (GSP). What water are you using, fresh water, brackish or marine? How many gallons is the tank? How many fish do you have there?

Freshwater since it was in freshwater.
46 gallon till my 25 is ready or should I keep it in there?
I have two eels and a pleco for now. I just bought my puffer last night and it is cute. I would love to have more as long as they don't kill one another.

Freshwater?!? They require brackish eater and marine water as adults.

Why do LPS insist on selling fish that they do not even know about?
So I guess I'm in a situation that I was not well prepared for.
I do have some Aquarium salt handy. Will that do?

No,No you require marine salt.

Edit by Jager (marine salt is used for all brackish and marine tanks, just in total amount used or specific gravity)
