Help! I had 2 Figure 8 Puffers in a 14 Gallon tank. One of them appeared to have 3 bite marks on him so I separated them. I left him in the 14 gallon tank and moved the other puffer to a temporary tank. Now he has multiple marks on him. It does not look like Ich. It looks like chunks of his skin have been bitten off all over. He is eating normally and swimming around normally although he occasionally goes to the bottom of the tank and rests on the sand (which he did not do before). Is there anything I can do to help him?

Melafix? Also the main cause of the problem to begin with could have been that they were just in too small of a tank to begin with.
