Well I want to have a planted tank and I want it to look good. Here is a picture of my tank now.

What plants would you put in there and where? There are so many options with the driftwood.

get some cotton strings and tight javae ferns,moss,annubias onto the driftwood. It seems like you are running out of space for your puffer to burrow under then sand.

i would suggest smaller spices of wood and more peices or plant java fern onto the existing bogwood.... usually i would put more sand especially with a cute suvatti 1.5-2" will be great so she can get lost in all the sand

I actually have another bag of sand I need to put in there.

If you kept that big piece of wood in there I would go with the Narrow Leaf Java fern in the background, Flame moss on the wood, and for the fourground I am not sure if I would. only cause your puffer likes to be buried

LOVE that wood btw, if I had that piece in my tank I would have dont soo many different thigns with my tank.

I agree, also instead of narrow leaf java you could try to find needle leaf. That piece of driftwood you got there would look sweet with java and moss tied to it. Or some annubia's

Sounds like star moss is non aquatic

Check out this link for different types of mosses. IMO the nicest are x-mas, Taiwan, weeping, flame, fissidens and pellia.

Well I will try and grow it and see what happens, since I already bought it. The picture showed it underwater so I hope it is possible. But I also got flame and java moss.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a quik question. Can you attach java fern to other decor besides wood?

Well I got some plants today. And 20 neon tetras, my suvatti doesn't seem interested. He still hasn't eaten any ghost shrimp yet. He has eaten krill though. I figure a few neon tetras would liven up the tank a bit, and if they become dinner so be it.
