I was offered this guy but don't think I am rich enough for him, sure is a nice looking puffer though. Are they really that rare?

Yeah. Some guy on MFK has two. I've never seen one.

MFK have a stock list of fish they're selling and the Tetraodon Pustulatus is on it!

Well more like a friend suggested it for me.
Not sure what he wants in the way of cash, wants more of a trade for either nice datnoids or marbled motoro rays which are not cheap.
What do one of these sell for usually?

Oh really? They lose the spots eh. So really when full grown both species look very similar?

Yes, there was an older thread either on waterwolves or mfk, where spotted "pustulatus" developed into "lineatus" quite nicely and thus were sold. Let me search...

Any idea as to what the price is in comparision to the Fahaka? IMO if they are that rare and expensive why not get a Fahaka and leave the rare one in the river.
