Finally finished my tank

I finally got my 75 Gallon up and running and I am almost finished the stand that I built (Just need doors). My figure eight (Bruiser)is pretty happy in there. I did have one question though. Has anyone had experience using daylights for salt water tanks and the moonlights? I'm not sure what those are called. Just wondering about the benefits of those rather than using the stock bulbs that came with my canopies? I'll post some pictures of the tank later.
-Thanks, Steve.

Hey here is at least one picture I took the other day. Now like I said the stand is still "under construction" and I still want to get a background for the tank and some plants and stuff. It still needs a bit of work but it's come a long way from where it was a few months ago, bit by bit I guess.

I love this tank and what's nice is I got it for free. My old manager had like five of them when Petsmart took over superpet so she gave me one. This thing is built like a tank.
-Thanks, Steve.

One thing I wanted to do with my tank was get some crown molding, paint it the color of my stand (black) and put it around the bottom, top and the corners of my tank. I seen a picture of one done like that on drsfostersmith and fell in love with the look. It reminded me of a tank inside a picture frame. Maybe one day.

That's funny because that's the next thing I'm doing to this tank just need to get the funds in order. It's so funny my girlfriend told my brother in-law that it looked like a "Homer" project when it was just the frame (and it did) but I have a feeling when it is completely finished I may just get a compliment or two. I'm also trying to figure out what to frame the doors with? I figure I can't do the perimeter of the tank stand and the doors with crown moulding as it would just look too cluttered.

Maybe a smaller version of the crown molding for the doors?

Yeah I went to the hardware store today and they have a thin trim I'm going to use and they have crown moulding with all kinds of funky designs too. Can't wait to get this finished.
