I am treating two of my GSP's for internal parisites with Gel Tek Ultra Cure PX. I soak freez dried food in the medicine and then feed it to my two puffers. I was shocked today when I was looking closley at their tank and there were MILLIONS of small hair like worms all over the glass of the tank and floating around in the tank! It was SICK! Im currently doing a 100% water change and working on getting that done but Im not sure how to get rid of the micro worms. Im also wondering where in the heck they came from? Possibly bad freez dried food? or from the puffers Internal parasites? this is really weird! HELP!

Usually from overfeeding. I do not believe this is from the puffers.

Right, these are usually planaria or there's something else they are called but I can't think of it off the top of my head.. harmless little worms but are often a sign that you are overfeeding, as they reproduce to meet their food supply. They tend to live in the substrate and come out to eat, or at night when the lights are off.

Just do several big water changes and cut back on feeding a bit. I'm 99% sure this is unrelated to your recent deworming.

Do a good substrate cleaning--under all the decor too.
