Juwel Rio 180 lid solutions?

I've picked up a Rio 180 tank second hand for pittance, but it didn't come with the lighting unit or flaps. I've priced up the cost of a new flaps/lights, and frankly, I may as well buy a new tank.

I'm not particularly bothered about good lighting, as it's going to become a brackish tank for a young Ceylon, so I won't be growing plants.

Any ideas for a cheap and cheerful solution? Anyone in the UK have a spare unit they'd be willing to part with for a fair price?

just keep checking aquarist classifieds, ebay, and sign up to ultimate reef, their classifieds section is great :)
I've seen a few people selling the old T8 ibars to upgrade to the T5s

Thanks. I've been checking eBay. Looks like I'll have to bide my time to get a bargain.

I'll be upgrading my tank soon I hope... if you wanted, you could buy the whole rio 180 off me (which includes the juwel T5 highlite and marine white and blue tubes) and then sell on what you don't require, one of the flaps has been cut to take a HOB skimmer though.

If you're interested I'll keep you updated as I am in talks with someone about picking up a rio 300

A very kind offer, but Derbyshire is a long way to go for us (about 3 hours). Thanks, though.

I'm also afraid if another tank made it over the threshold I'd be tempted to fill it. :)
