gsp has lumps?

Ok i bought 2 gsp's from walmart. One is doing great, but the other one has a black belly and has lumps on it, does anyone know what it could be or how to fix it? The PH of the water is 8.0 and i added the table spoon per five gallon of marine salt to their 20 gallon tank. I do not have nitrate, nitrite or ammonia testers but i have this filter you put in there that keeps it all down. They are the only fish in there and i feed them ghost shimp, blood worms, mystery snails, and some frozen foods. I just did a 25% water change because i thought it might help. I did use the quick cycling drops to cycle the tank faster but had goldfish in it for about a month before i got them. I've also added parasite medications to their tank for him and their vitamins. Like i said the other one is fine but this one is so lumpy he looks deformed and bigger on one side.

You really must get yourself some test kits. A pic would help a great deal too.

There's one or two other puffer owners who have posted recently about lumps like this. Try checking those when you get a chance.
