To follow up, as of today I'm starting to get very nervous about my fish. What's remarkable is how slowly the disease is progressing... By all accounts, my fish should be dead by now.
This morning I surprised my fish with the lights during his sleep colouration... The "saddleback" was extremely apparent. Sort of a velvety, pimpled coating over his back between the pectoral and dorsal fins.
As of today I am soaking his food in Tetracycline. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and I'm wondering if someone will enlighten me on how to mix a salt bath?
