And to start off the New Year with a bang, here's an amazing selection of fine looking puffers posing for your viewing pleasure! Each photo is a clickable link that opens up to the full sized version, so be sure to check them all out.

Name: Stripe-Belly
Species: Arothron hispidus
Age: unknown, at least 4 years old
Size: 14 or 15 in long
This puffer lives in the Waikiki Aquarium in the outside open exhibit. The water flows freely in and out of the ocean, and sometimes wild crabs will wander into the tank, providing the puffer with a free snack.

Name of Puffer - Bonzo
Size - Approx 4" Including tail
Brief description - MEH!! bored now, off to check out the other end of my estate...

Age: 1 and a half years
Size: 5 inches
This picture was taking in my little fish store(my basement). He loves chilling by that tall coral.

-Size of puffer: 8 or 10 inches
-Brief Description: A cute Fahaka puffer that I always liked to stare at, it has some sort of cut on its side. It looks like a burn mark. It was a lot of money and no one looked interested in it. If I had the tank and money; I would buy it.

Age: Maybe around 1 year old
Length: 2"
Even though Blinky's always hungry, he's been a very good fishie for not eating his new tankmate, Polka-the-anemone-crab (you can barely see him in the background). They've been together for about a month now, and so far, no bullying yet!

Photo taken at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California. It was in a huge tank (many thousands of gallons) with many other kinds of fish.

Brief description: Lives in a 22 G tank, together with his wife. Well, at least for now, that is. He is getting more and more abusive against his wife, so she may have to move out.
