Yeah.. open bag of frozen, raw, shell on shrimp (or mussels, scallops, etc), thaw in some water, and feed.
Seriously though, many puffers don't like "prepared foods" like pellets or anything, they tend to only accept it in "raw" form like entire snails, chunks of shrimp, nightcrawlers, etc. I think the appearance matters almost more than the flavor/nutrients with these google-eyed fish. Paris will just about chew her way through the glass if she sees me with a live snail, or a thawed out clam.. but I can't get her to even try squid that comes in the little frozen squares, same thing with my Figure 8. Mine might just be more picky than average though...
I tend to watch for shrimp on sale, since that's the main food my puffers eat. Slowly but surely I've managed to get them to at least try a few other foods, but the shrimp is very affordable, when its on sale.

My GSP's will eat Hikari sinking carnivore pellets. They are the ONLY pellets they will touch, and while I rarely feed them, they are nice to have for hungry puffer emergencies.

Paris used to eat the Carnivore Delight big wafer type pellets. Right up until I bought the big huge expensive bag of it, then she wouldn't eat it any more! LOL
