Elvis was having a bit of constipation. I accidently discoved that feeding him seaweed keeps him regular.
I ran out of his sea veggies (seaweed) that I give him as a snack. I didn't get any for almost 3 weeks. I noticed about a week ago that he started to show signs of constipation. I bought some more sea veggies and bam! Problem solved.
Now he's a big pooh machine! Don't know if anyone else has ever tried this or had the same experience so I thought I would share.

Elvis love's the purple sea veggies, you can get them online or at petsmart. They are called Julian Sprung's Sea Veggies. Here's a link:

Well...That would make sense. The seaveggies must contain natural fiber. I would imagine, like humans, eating bran or a good healthy veggies keeps them regular. Boy, I have the "I puff when I poo" (PP) going through my head right now.....

most all sw puffers are omnivorous and would eat various macroalgae if they were in the wild. many of the toby puffers have macroalgae as a major component of their diet. so, if say you cut a vital part of your diet, i'm sure you would discover some discomfort when you are.....you know.....mid puff
