Is she getting sick or am I paranoid?

Not sure if Annabelle is getting that skin condition that matt77's puffer had and someone else's puffer. I noticed this last night, her skin color is fading. Here are some pictures I took this morning.

Did a 25% water change yesterday and this is when I noticed it. I thought she was just upset from the water change but now i'm not sure. I have melafix on hand and I ordered pimafix this morning. Pimafix probally won't be here for 2 weeks because of the holidays. Before I start treating I wanted to get your suggestion. Am I paranoid or is she sick? Remember she just went through a mini cycle and was recently moved from a 29g to a 125g. I overfed her yesterday so she was lazy all day. I'll be skipping her feeding today. Right now she is swimming and comes out when I look at her, being curious. No heavy breathing but she has flashed once that I saw. Hoping I'm just being a paranoid mother.

Here is a picture of me acclimating her the first day I got her:

There are more pics in pix and flix of her if you need more reference pictures.

Here's a few more pics I just took, I also noticed black spots on the top of her. Not sure if you can really see them in the pictures.

I think she looks fine. My fahaka goes from mottled to striped all the time.

Thanks PP, she keeps changing colors on me. :? One minute she will look blotchy and the next minutes she will darken up. She's totally different than my other puffers and I wasn't sure if this was normal. Not to mention the fact that she keeps burying herself and half the time I can't find her. If she don't stop giving me panic attacks I'm going to have to spank her tail fin. :D I figured out that the black spots I saw on her was actually black sand.

I can't wait until she grows a bit more and stops the disappearing act. :D

She's so cute. Maybe she's still getting used to the new tank, is this a new gravel color for her? She's probably just trying to blend in.

In the 29g I was using aquatic soil, which was more of a rock substrate for planted tanks. In the new tank I'm using seachem's black onyx sand for planted tanks. I got a chance to measure her last night and she is now 5" from nose to tail. She ate this morning, then she went next to a log to take a nap. I swear she is sooooooooo lazy, nothing like Elvis or Chong. I guess I just need to get use to her habits also. This is my first lazy, all the time-color changing puffer.

It looks more like she is trying to blend in with the black sand, if you can change it to a light sand colour and she will change to a sort of canary yellow with dark stripes. Mine still tries to bury her self now which is funny as she hits the bottom of the tank and only a quater of her is under the sand and the rest of her is stuck up right in the water
