Hi I am very new at this and basically just looking for straight answers. I dont know what is needed to house just a porcupine puffer other then a 120 gallon tank. I dont presently have one at this time but that seems to be the only straight answer I can find. If someone could please give me some straight foward facts that would be great.

They are full marine fish. Possibly posted in wrong thread?

You will need aragonite sand or crushed coral for your substrate.
Live Rock
Protein Skimmer
Sump or Wet/Dry
Heater could be optional if your water temp stays steady, or a chiller if the water stays too hot.
Powerheads if you don't have enough water movement in your tank.
Make sure your tank is 100% cycled.

This is all I can think about right off the top of my head.

Just making sure you knew they were full marine. I am currently setting up a 180 gal for a Porc and I've been getting a real education on here. I have to second that. Give it a read. The stickied article is super informative. It made me want to get a porc someday...when I can get a 120G.
