snails in BW tank

I can't remember if this has been brought up before, but I found something interesting today. There are healthy adult Malaysian Trumpet Snails in my BW tank which has been between 1.010 and 1.016 (I vary the sg over time...) for a while now. I haven't had MTS in my house for months, and i haven't added anything new to that tank...
So anybody wanting snails in their Brackish tank and aren't worried about the possibility of your puffer cracking a tooth then MTS will work. I have tried to get pond snails going in this tank with no luck, they just die (find empty shells in the filter). I personally don't want them and will start trying to remove them... I hate MTS.
btw, I only noticed, because I saw Hootey trying to crack one.
