Hello all
Just thought I'd put up some pics of my puffer.
I assume he/she is a Canthigaster papua, I have seen several common names from them.
I have a 55 gallon tank that has been up for a year and the only other resident is a false clown.
I have a remora c protine skimmer and a a couple of power heads for water movement.
I have had this guys for about 4 months and he seems to be doing well (attacks food).
I am thinking of putting another fish in the take please let me know of you have any thoughts.
I have thought about a GSP but I think they would be too aggressive (your thoughts?).

Lovely looking puffer! I have 2 Green Spotted Puffers in with my Solandri and they get along just fine. Solandri and Paupan have the same temperament so I am sure it would not be a problem.

Chin, how large is the tank they are housed in?

I meant Chin's tank. I bet they are in a much bigger environment, where they can all have their own territories.

My puffer looks like that one, but i thought it was a c.solandri. Whats the difference between the c. solandri and the Canthigaster papua?

Yeah, it's a 125.
I have always found GSP's that I have owned to be more docile than any of the other puffers they are housed with. These GSP's follow the Solandri around...I think to get scraps of what he eats.

ok, it works. it doesn't show the solandri like you have though

I'm not sure that's what I have, unless it's just a juvie but it's not that small. No orange at all in mine.

I think you may have a C. epilamprus....then again that is just going from your description.
