as you all may know i have a baby mbu and a big boy!

anyway today about 20 mins ago cleaned out the 6x2 like i do 2x a weeek. Cutiepie is now about 4"

anyway I took some decor out to give it a really good clean and couldnt see her atall about 5 mins into cleaning anyway...... i noticed she burrowed into the sand and could barely see her. anyway wiggled a king prawn she soon moved. now she has tried to do it again and is covered just past her belly and sand all over her...... bless its sooo funny

neverseen this in a mbu before but was fun to watch i think shes just trying to be crafty

Maybe she's a mix breed. :D J/K I never seen or heard of a Mbu doing this either. I wonder if they do that in the wild when they are young. :D

i think shes just a very very cleaver little bugger. She often pretends shes asleep ( lying low with brown colouration instead fo black) and she will sneak up on my hand allong the bottoim and tryies to scare me....

she is defenetly the oddest of the 4 mbus ive owned

I know a lot of people with Fahakas say they like to bury themselves when they are young (*snicker* the fahakas, not the people), so maybe its just a defensive instinct, like a fawn laying perfectly still so predators don't see it?

I got a great picture on my new 12MP camera so its very detailed ill post it tonight just hoping to have the cam corder in my hands when she does it next

Myaj, I know Annabelle (fahaka) tried to bury herself once when I first got her. She was so cute with just a few pebbles on her and only her eyes moving. Now she owns the tank!

flash.dan, I can't wait to see that picture!
