today in the morning i noticed that my puffer has a little gray spot on top of a black spot it doesnt seem normal to me what is it?
he swims and eats normally he doesnt hide or anything and he doesnt have the belly black so whats the matter?

We'd need a pic to know for sure.

for the moment i dont have a cam, he swims and eats like allways, no black on his belly so what can it be by what i tell you on my description?

Hard to tell--could be a bite, are there other fish in there? Could be a fungus, you can try treating wiht Melafix/Pimafix.

i have it alone and moving him to a 30 gal for himself on december.
how much medicine should i put in the tank i have it in a 10 gal and im making the tank brackish adding salt for saltwater aquarium every water change i add 1/4 of cup i change the water every 3 days 30% ive been adding the salt for the last 2 weeks

are you completly disolving the salt in water in a seperate container before you add it to your tank? if you add salt directly to the tank without disolving it first, it can "burn" your fish's skin.

Also, you need a hydrometer to measure the salinity of the water every time you do a water change.

i dont have an hydrometer since all the ones that ive seen start in .012 ill keep looking.
and as for the salt every water change i add the salt in the bucket with the clean water but it doesnt disolve all could it be a salt burn?
can someone put a photo to see? maybe the gray spot is a burn

I'd stop adding salt until you can prolerly measure it. Get yourself a small powerhead for mixing too.

on sat im going to petco to buy an hydrometer

ive been searching for Melafix on the petstores but its seems that here in tijuana its kind of hard to get what else can i tri for the fungus?

well the border is like 30 min from home and petco is like 30 min from the border, but we have some problems with the car so its in the mecanic so i cant cros for the moment , my puffer seem normal stil eats like a beast swims normally and no black belly, but it still has that little gray spot that boters me.
i have malachite green with sodium chloride does this help?

We couldn't care what color your skin is around here.

I highly suggest against using any meds in your main tank. Just wait until you can get some Melafix or order it online. Always a good product to have around--totally natural & won't hurt your biological filtration like other meds will.

i know my color skin doesnt care but i find it funny, ok ill keep looking for melafix can mi puff wait? he seems alrright
