Porcupine puffer puffed!

I turned the tank light on and he was fine, and a couple minutes later, he was a round spiky ball. I sorta feel like porcs puff more readily than other puffers, just from seeing more videos of them on YouTube than anything else. Is this true? I know it's never the best thing when any puffer puffs, but he seems fine now, not stressed in the least. Do you think he's okay?

He's probably fine. Porcs puff much more frequently than other puffers, and often when young puff just to practice.

long ago i didnt know either. I got this info from members here who have experience with porc puffers.

Sorry about going off topic, Chaz, but it was too funny to pass up!
Chances are your puffy is okay, especially if things seem fine now. I've caught my puffers puffing at the most random things, so it doesn't always mean it's a bad thing.

Yeah he is probably fine. Just practicing. I saw my valentini puff but he didnt see me see him puff.

I love this vid. Boris is pure win. It's like "Ok I'm gonna get my sla...err owner's attention" And he did just that. I loved that "Kiss my....tail" action he did when they said "You can't read the new Harry Potter book" lol
