Nile Puffer Question

Hello My Fellow Puffers, got a question ... I've been seeing in some stores a Puffer under the name of Nile Puffer, or West Nile Puffer, yet when I do a search it comes up with no information. I am guessing that's not it's true name and I don't have a latin name. Can anyone help me with this, and is this a freshwater, brackish or saltwater Puffer? Thank you.

Is called fahaka puffer. You need a mosnter tank to house one of this puffer. Just look at puffpedia FW section under fahaka puffer for more info.

Mine's a cutie, well he hasn't taken a chunk out of my hand yet
They are so fascinating to watch and interact with but they do take a bit of looking after - large tank, oversized filtration, big water changes etc - but well worth it. This is my first aquarium and I did a lot of research beforehand, but I have no regrets.
