Add ammonia to keep that tank cycled, as per the fishless cycling article.

WTH 4x2x2 = 120 gallons? My tank is 4x2x2 and I was told it's a 90 gallon!...????

ACF, do you go by "American Gallons" or "UK Gallons"?

In American, its 119 gallons.

In UK, its 99.7 gallons.

That might by why you were told 90, I don't know what Canada uses as a standard.

Hmm must be in metric. But still why would they use imperial terms for measurements and then say its 90 metric gallons.. Hmm well then I guess it's a 119 gallon tank then. Its a wave style tank. Sec I'll take a picture of the nice GREEN tank and post.

Green because of Liquid Fungus Cure. He was sick sick, Thread; Hospital.Fahaka.With.Cloudy.Eye? Some pics there of him sick.
So what you figure? You think perhaps the curve in the tank would displace 30 gallons???? I don't think that much. Or did they just guesstimate 90 gallons.. LoL?

It's tricky to see from that photo but it could be 30 depending on how large the dip in is etc. If you look at juwels tanks, they have the Rio 400 which is 400 litres (105ish gallons) and they also have the Vision 450 which is a bow front and 450 litres (118 gallons). Because of that bow outwards, it adds another 50 litres (13 gals). Also, have you got anything else in that tank now? Was it just like this cause he was sick?

This is it right now. Yea well I was running brackish for a month and a half or so and then he got sick (LFS).... so I did a 100% water change to freshwater and (siphoned, shoveled, plugged the sink and almost the bathtub) but got the 90 pounds of white sand I had in there that always turned brown and was algae ridden out of there! I wanna throw something down on the bottom but I have no idea what. I wanna go with slate, perhaps crushed or pieces 1-1n1/2" with a shelf. Too find it though!!!??? What do you figure?
Bloody Fungus attacked one of my rocks... Stuff stains everything!!

BTW the bow in I would say is about 2"s deep, maybe!

I would go with a darker, large-grain sand or small grain gravel. I have a 50/50 black sand/gravel mix.
