hey guys, my f8 is having some bouyancy problems. Ph 7.8, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0.5. Hes in a 20 gal tank with 1 guppy. I did a water change last week, friday, in fact. I noticed just a bit ago that he was passing a yellow, stringy thing with a ball on the end. Suggestions??

Poo like you describe makes me think of IPs, but I don't know for sure if they could be causing bouyancy problems.

thanks guys, i lost the f8 last night, RIP Blake! When we took him out of the tank we noticed on his under belly was the start of some kind of sore. I have no idea what it is. i dont know what could have caused his problem, he was treated for ip's when we first got him, he was eating clam, shrimp, snails and bloodworms. Really strange, he started to do these belly rolls and couldnt starighten himself out when he swam. IDK, its def been a real hard time. :(

Sorry for your loss. Could have been an external parasite.
