cheers indie i did not know that the fahaka could change there colour depending on what colour stone or sand they have in there tank.
so i change my brown stone to sand and now he has got lighter and is showing his stripes alot more plus the tank looks amazing so i am well pleased and think big ale is too, his munching well and looking around his new tank coz i put some new big rocks in there too and he seems to like the change to his tank.

if he hasn't already he'll dive into that sand and you'll have a hard time finding him occasionally, i've got my little one with small gravel and he still finds a way to bury up to his eyeballs

i tried putting some better close up 1s so you can see all the caves at the back, they all link up and come away from the back glass up 7in in some places, its quite good.
but it wont let me upload them as there bigger than 256kb,its a shame coz the back ground caves and rocks with vines growing in them is really realistic.
plus i wanted to upload the cave pic with big ale in but could not

.
well thats my tank and hope you like it as i do

wow that looks really good. Can big ale get into the caves at the back?
It makes such a difference taking a pic with the lights on and room lights off

big ale can get into all the caves they are really big some off them but dont look so big in these pics as they are not very close to the tank.
he loves to play in them by zig zagging through them

.
do you or any 1 else have any pics they can show us off your tanks, would love to see them all

nice tank, they have lots off different things to explore.
i think ive been reading a fred where you was putting this tank together and asking for ideas on it,i remember the cool plant on a sucker stuck to the glass to change the hights off things which is a good idear.
do your gsp get on well together as some 1 once told me they can fight a bit which i dont no if its true as dont no much about them.
does any 1 else have any cool pics of there tanks.

The 4 gsp get on well at the moment, but as they get bigger they will need to go into a bigger tank as its likely they will become terriorial and aggressive if they stay in there.
