mbus in lfs - why so many

I've always wondered why every LFS i go into has up to 7 or 8 mbus at any one time when there are so few people out there who have the capacity to care for one. So i thought i'd ask the guy who works in the shop and he said that its only because their suppliers wont let them order less than 8 at any one time! I think its quite sad, because each mbu they have is a different size and you can see about half of them have been mis-sold and returned as too large for their tank. So i guess they'll never stop ordering loads of them in cos they sell for alot of money (£40-£75) and lets face it, i bet customers lie alot about their tank size so they can get this cute puffer fish, and then eventually realise it was a bad idea. I mean, this lfs say they only sell to people with an 8ft tank, so i guess thats a start.

Just thought i'd say.lol

Thats funny because i've never even seen two in a tank, every time i've seen them in the LFS's here there is only one. They only sell to people with 8ft tanks? yeah right

Really? wow.
Maybe its different here in the uk.
But every LFS i go in theres loads of them. Usually they are between 4" and 6" and with some returns between 8" and 10".
The LFS i went to yesterday had a whole row of them next to each other :(

I cant see there being many people with an 8ft tank. I think they are probably letting them go to 4ft and 5ft tanks. Maybe even smaller if people are lying about tank size.
