Best Wormers Available in the UK

Alright!

I am trying to choose between a few wormers that I’ve found that are available to those in the UK. Has anybody had any experience of any of the following?

Wormer Plus
Sterazin (produced by waterlife)
Tramazol (produced by Sera)

If so….

Have you used them with F8s?
Did you dose directly into the tank or into food?
Were they effective?

I’m also interested to hear people’s views on treating regularly for IPs vs only treating once your puff shows signs of IPs.

Cheers

this is what i bought..

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trks ... cus+wormer

Worked well, and the puffer began putting on weight.. i soaked her food in it and then after a few days dosed the tank as well. (She was a marine porcupine)

I would not treat unless the puffer has a seriously concaved belly... as i believe people get over paranoid about puffers, and often blame Ip's for the puffer's death when there is no clear sign that was the case... keep the water good, feed correctly and you puffer will be happy and healthy...

and only worm if it actually looks like it has IP's. If in doubt, post a pic and we should be able to work out if it needs treating or not. :-)

Thanks for that...

I'm new to the idea or worming and was not sure how proactive to be about it. I'm also not entirely happy about treating for things that aren't a problem. I'll try and get some pics of Stanley (my puffer), but he's dead camera shy.

btw whats "BUMP"?

Cheers...

bump means that the post got lost down the list as others overtook it, so puffer punk 'bumped' it back up to the top ... where I saw it an answered.. :-)
