Hi,
I have a 240g tank with a dogface puffer, clown and a power blue tang in it. they all have been in there for 4 months.
Recently the puffer is not eating anymore and just lays in one spot in the tank with his tail to its side. Its as if he is in pain and can't swim he used to eat great and i feed him krill,brine and silver sides.
he is been like this for the last 4-5 days and yesterday i moved him to 30g qt and medicated with furan-2 thinking maybe its bacterial infection.
tank is 11 months old with live rock and live sand.

ammonia:0
nitrire:0
Nitrate:40 (main tank). qt is 50% tank water/50% freah made
Any idea what i should do to help him?

That temp seems a little high to me. Could the other fish be picking on him when you are out of view? Could your Puff be constipated? How is his physical appearance? Any injuries, discoloration, sunken or swollen belly, etc.?

Also, his diet's not that varied.
I wonder if that's making him feel a bit off.

thanks guys but I lost him last night. I don't know why? he was definitly my favorite fish with a great personality.
