The Puffer Forum

so i was celebrating my birthday with my friend rory ( aka kingofrats on the forum ( although i dont think hes posted yet) anyway i digress. we went to taco bell, and the fish store, and the comic store. so i pick up a few comics and was happy with that, i figured i would go and get some yummys for my puffers. ( tube flex and ghost shrimp and maybe some live brine ( i am tight on money so that's all i was planning) we get there and there was some new puffers in a dwarf Congo and, a abei and i wanted both, but i had money for neither. then i start talking to barbie ( dont know why they call her that ( it might be her real name but i doubt it) and she told me she could do it for 8 and then i did have the money for it! so i order it and some food stuff for fish and then renee ( rorys mom) comes in and tells barbie its my birth day as i was going to pay and when i go to pull out the last of my money she tells me shes giveing me a speical basment birthday discount ( with a wink) and tells me its 530 for the puffer and 1 for my feeders. i was shocked but hey i got a fish. hes about the size of my thumb ,no more then 2 inches, and its in a 10 gallon quarantine tank. ( hes there because well i have to cycle some stuff around for him to get into the 30 but its ok because the figure 8s and gobys are moving up soon and the abei can have there old tank ) Hes seems to just want to sit around, but im not worryed he was in with a bunch of African cichlids, and i would imagine he just wants to sit and become unstressed. he has some nipped fins but im sure the malafix will fix that up right nice. pictures pending ( i want him to settle down a bit before i put a silver box in front of the tank and case him with it

Abeis are loads of fun! Hopefully things go well.

Happy Birthday! Did you eat yummy cake?? (mmmm yummy cake)

no no cake but i have drinken about a gallon of mountain dew and hate all the taco bell i could fit in my stomach got some zombie comics ( and some love craft comics) and i have like 400 pizza rolls in my fridge so i dont need cake just yet ill get some later for now im content

im sure there fun but mine is just settling in it jsut sits undrthe big leafy plant and stares at stuff but like i said hes proabably going to be fine ( he might have a light case of ich though ( i have already done smoe things incase it is )

thanks for the kind words guys but you know im still able to look back at my birthday and the events and be happy ( i dont even regret gitting the fish )it was still a happy birthday even with the loss of a very cute fish. ... but i do think im over due for some cake and ice cream ....and a movie marathon
