I was at an LFS, and just saw a whole whack of Takifugu Ocellatus. Recombinant Rider was along and saw em all, thats her finger holding up the quarter for size reference...about 5-5.5". Oh, how I wanted to get one...

Hope this is a cheer for your day...I hope they all get good homes....the guy at the store seems to have a handle as to how to treat these guys...

I do miss this puff! They are so active, used to go nuts for cuddle fish and would splash all over the place.

After the baby is born and we planning to move so when I get into the new house I am going to set up an entire Fugu area for study. I am really excited about the progress these fish are making in the hobby as more and more people are coming to the understanding on how they need to be treated. I will get an article out there one day soon with the help of Marco and his amazing knowledge. :D

Excellent. I just want a fugu cuz they are one of the most awesome puffers to have...at least for me anyways. I will be awaiting your article. I'll be snapping away with photos, so if you ever need any, just send me a message and they are yours. These ones are a sub standard for me....so I will be looking to take better ones

Nice pics! Thanks!

I wish I could find takifugu here in Japan for pets. They are raised for food over here. :(

you'd think since they are raised for food over there you'd be able to find them easier
