I got my GSP and Figure 8 at walmart. Do they ever carry Ceylons and if so, can they thrive with green spotted puffers?

They can, but please, avoid buying them from Walmart. They have a terrible habit of mistreating their fish, and we should not be supporting them (or, at least, not supporting their live fish department) because of it. Look around for a LFS (local fish store) that may have them.

Also, Ceylons are considerably less common than GSPs and F8s, so it might be harder to find them.

I have been lucky to find a few being sold as F8s, as they so closely resemble them. Look for the belly spots.

they're sold as jade puffers here in sacramento, but not very common, and i agree please don't buy wal-mart puffers, they shouldn't carry fish at all let alone puffers
