That's just disguisting. Ruining the environment and killing fish for their personal gain.

Poor little fellows. :(

That's why the human race sucks; most humans don't care about anything else but themselves. I wouldn't care as much if they were eating them (ignoring the toxins part of it), but to just dump them on the ground is such a waste... though, I guess humanity knows all about waste, don't we?

It happens all over the world, and not only with puffers. When fishers get some fish they don't need, they dump them afterwards. As they take the fish into the boat first, and only dump them when they've got as far as getting them out of the net (which can take a while), most fishes are dead. :( I've seen lots of videos of fishers dumping huge amount of fishes out again. And even worse: dumping the fish they are supposed to fish, because it's above the quota. :( Or even worse than that: dumping the fish they are supposed to fish, because if they continue fishing, they will get more fish than the quota. And they do want to fish more, to get fish that is larger/better quality. :( Such a waste of food for us and of fish lives. When you think about how many species we do fish too much of, this only makes it a lot worse! :(

I don't know how anyone could watch a little burrfish suffocate like that.

Apathy can allow for many unfortunate things.

Oh those kinds of things make me sick...just because its not furry and lovable - its a LIVING creature. I have (literallly) spent nights awake watching my puffers that were sick for some reason or another and treated them until they were back to normal - its been a long time since I had to do that (my girlfriend is quite happy although she loves the puffers we have more than I do sometimes :)

If I ever saw someone do that to a puffer, I'd probably get arrested for assault!
