Oh wow. Thank goodness he isn't full grown yet, hopefully he will realize you are his friend and not a meal.

I once narrowly escaped losing a finger when stupidly at feeding time I pused a floating plant out the way and Clooney thought oooh prawn. I squealed like a girl I can tell you, much to my my wife amusement. Clooney looked rather confused over the whole thing
I'm glad yours is too small to do any real damage though, PHEEEEEEEEEEW!!!!!!

I got bit by my Fahaka a while back. I used to think it was fun feeding him by hand. Boy did I learn a lesson quick. Instead of biting the krill it bit my finger tip!
Good thing it was small. You wouldn't catch me doing that again.
Funny how shocking it is when you get bit by a puffer.

If it was full grown, then he wouldn't be posting this

Yes.

I've only been bitten once, and Hufflepuff was the one to blame. He is my second largest puffer, which isn't large compared to a mbu. I always knew that if I would get bitten, Hufflepuff would be the guilty one. He has tried to bite me through the glass several times. But always when I do tank work, and have to put my hands into the water, he's tried to escape from me. Except this one time. I have no idea what made him bite that time, but I know I wasn't prepared for it. Luckily he only hit my nail, otherwise he would have drawn blood - because he did take a chunk out of my nail! After that incident, I always keep a close eye on Hufflepuff when I have to put my hands into his tank. Puffer bites make you learn to be careful!
