Tank Size

hi all do you think a 215ltr tank is big enough for a porkipine puffer????????

Hehe *PORKipine*....Min size is 120 gallon(450L) If is still young i think so but cant really put too much tankmates in there.Eventually you'll need larger tank. Best to prepare bigger tank to make him a happy puffer. Please look at pufferpdeia section under marine puffers. Post some pics of your new friend if you can and welcome to the forum.

So how big is he/she? plurmaster is correct - Nothing wrong with starting off with a smaller (55G+ tank) and moving up as you can (cost, space etc)...porcs are slow growers (from my experience) so no need to hurry - just keep a good protein skimmer running, keep the Nitrates down and yes unfortunately don't add too many other fish - maybe a school of chromis or small clowns (that is if the puff is small too otherwise he may want to eat them!)...prepare to move up to a 100G+ (~400L) within 1-2 years depending on growth rate which depends on water quality, what you feed and how often...
