i have a hawaiian puffer fish which we have had for about a yr. approx. 3 wks. ago we noticed he was not eating. the left side of his face started swelling up a short time later and has remained swollen although he started to eat again about 4 days ago. otherwise he seems fine. i was thinking an infection but as i stated he is fine otherwise. possibly a tumor? any ideas? thanks.d

you should post this in the hospital forum.

what are your water parameters? Has anything changed in the tank? You could always try pimafix to rule out any internal parasites.
